That’s right. I now have so many, and will continue buying them, and since they’re related by birth, then I shall rename thee…
Because I have bloody oodles of them!
Up first we have one you may have seen a sneeky peak of in previous photos of my bedroom makeover.
I’m thinking this is the metallic version of the old New Custom with mirror and lift out tray. It’s model #5620.
Next up we have the New Custom 2-Swing Tray Caboodle #2725 in shades of blue. Costing $92.05 to import via eBay US, it’s in good condition and is as large as the Jewellery 2-Tray.
Here is is with my Jewellery 2-Tray from last year. Clearly the same molds were used in production.
Next up we have three play sets I managed to get a hold of here in Aus on eBay. The yellow and aqua beach Caboodle came empty, but I can at least use the pieces from the others to do something with it.
Total was $57.76
Next up we have this gorgeous girl. The photos do not do the colour justice as it’s a beautiful deep rose pink colour in real life. Known as the Combination Cosmetics Organiser, this is one that was used for the 90210 promotion. The left side is flocked for jewellery, the right side not for makeup. It cost $103.01 US from eBay US, and is model #106.
And if you think it might look familiar, Leonie took a leaf from the Nail Caddy Caboodle (this I bought last year) for the clasp. Here are mine to show the similarities.
Lastly, we have the stunningly pink pearlescent Jewellery Organizer, the unflocked version, sadly. Model #305/306 it actually came with all of its parts, but no handle as many of the smaller ones did.
And if you think the shape looks familiar, it similar to my green Sassaby model #105 from last year. Here they are to show the similarities. Same mold was used, clearly.
That’s it so far this year. It’s a matter of getting them when they’re up for sale, and at a decent price for conversion. Oi, this collection’s costing me thousands!
