Ghostbusters, Paul, Godzilla, Doctor Who and Elementary, it was a weekend of ghosts, aliens and mutant creatures.

On Saturday night 7Mate pulled out the retro 80s flick Ghostbusters. The original! I didn’t watch it as I’ve seen it before and I had things to do before the next movie came on…..

Paul!
I didn’t see it when it first came out as I’m too lazy and too much of a scrooge to go to the cinemas to watch anything, and too lazy to get it from my local movie store or library, so I waited for it to come to tv and watched it Saturday night.
It was hilarious! Loved every minute of it and would watch it again if it came back on. Wasn’t a fan of Simon Pegg’s Shaun of the Dead, and only saw half of Hot Fuzz, but I watched all of this and loved it. Didn’t even see Agent Zoil a being the agent who was helping Paul escape.
2 thumbs up.

On Sunday night came the 1998 version of Godzilla. Only ever seen it once so I watched it again, in between Doctor Who (with its own ghost and alien creature) and Elementary. It’s been a hectic couple of nights on tv with all this sci-fi and geekery.

Apparently Godzilla is being released next year as a new movie.

Do we REALLY need another one?
