The glamorously fabulous lady detective, The Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher, (pronounced Fry-nee) swans into early 1929 Melbourne, fighting injustice with her pearl-handled pistol and her dagger-sharp wit is back tonight on the ABC, with more mystery, more suspense and more of that amazingly glamorous wardrobe for all to see.
She came onto our screens last year in a whirlwind of passion, excitement and with an intuition for solving mysteries alongside the dashing Detective Inspector Jack Robinson.
Last weeks episode featured the dark arts and black magic. Death and bad memories. Murder and poison! All in a days work for Phryne!
I think the stand out was her nightgown, a gorgeous pearl grey silk and satin number that was absolutely amazing.
One must add a fur stole to a spotted dress.
Two boleros featured in this episode although the gold one was the best.
Of course one must sleuth at night wearing a headpiece and fur covered coat.
Stay tuned for the glamorously fabulous lady detective, The Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher, tonight, 8:30, ABC
I dig the feather plumed hat.
