Susan Sand, Award Winning Author Sleuth

The reason for this blogfest of book series is purely because I needed to re-catalogue it all. I lost what pictures I did have on my old computer and hadn’t taken any more since. And that’s about ten years. So over December I pulled it all out, took photos, and repacked it all.

So here is the start of it…

I loved this series when I came across them. Never mind the fact the US covers are so pretty, and very 80s/90s as they remind me of the Linda Craig series. Remember those? God, I read so many, Meg, Kay Tracey…anyhoodle, I ended up buying all of the UK versions rather easily as they’re the versions we get most here in Aus, and managed to also buy 1-6 of the US versions. I just need to find 7 and 8 but they’re so elusive.

Susan Sand is a nineteen year old award winning author who lives with her aunt, as her parents died many years ago. She has a cat named Icky, after an Egyptian ruler, and her best friend is Marge Halloran. She also has an admirer in Professor Randall Scott.

Now…if only my life was like that…

There are basically no collectibles for this series, so as with most of my collections, I made a lot of things and here they are below. You can also find them on my Pinterest board (LINK HERE) if you wish to follow that rather than my blog post.

Here’s my Susan Sand collection in full…and forgive the crappy pink tablecloth, this was during the re-organisation of a good couple of thousand books so I didn’t have time to make them pretty. Xmas, Halloween, stationery sets…

I’ve never heard of Susan Sand, but I can see why you’re a fan! The covers are indeed ’80s/’90s-rific, and what girl wouldn’t want to solve mysteries and bask in the attentions of an intellectual admirer? Also, it’s so fun that you made all this cool Susan-themed stuff! My favorites are the Christmas and Halloween tags.

Yes, Tote. It’s a pity there weren’t more in the series. They’re quite good books.
