And you’re not sure if it’s what you’ve eaten that day, the day before, or the day before. You don’t think you ate THAT much, but WHAT was it you ate? The two-bite size pieces of chocolate? Nutella on bread at 7:30 at night? The big lunch of steak, mash and gravy? The piece of chocolate chip cheesecake in the afternoon? Or the famous nachos you make for morning tea?
Well, you would since you ate the food, but could all of that make you wake up hot? Have stomach pains? Make you run to the toilet thinking you’re going to vomit?
I’m getting quite sick and tired of that happening to me. It doesn’t happen every week or every month, every six months maybe. I’ll over eat for a few days and then BOOM! I wake up in the middle of the night feeling sick.
Clearly, while I have learnt to NOT eat too much of the carbs and junk, every now and then I still do it, NOT expecting to get sick. But sometimes, there I am, waking up hot and headachy, pains in my stomach, running to the toilet hoping I don’t throw up, dealing with the stomach pains while my bowels decide how much they’re going to let go of, and then when I’m done I crawl back into bed and cover up because I’m now cold and shaky.
The last time I was sick was the night of the 26/27th of December 2010 when it was an unfortunate combo of rich Belgian chocolates and non-alcoholic alcohol.
Really bad combo peeps.
Seriously, I’m just really sick and tired of being sick and tired because of what I eat.
