I’ve heard and read a lot of things on TV, in magazines etc, where women are saying really stupid things that make absolutely no sense to me.
The phrase, ‘I gave myself permission’, is one I just don’t understand.
As an adult, why do you need to give yourself permission for anything? I personally think phrases such as these make women sound weak, pathetic, immature and insecure. That they don’t have the balls or the backbone to stand up for themselves and what they want.
You don’t need someone else’s permission so why do you need to give yourself permission.
It’s like by the time you hit 40 plus you really don’t give a shit about a lot of things.
The twenty years before has worn you down, the people shitting on you, the way life has treated you, the horrible things that happen, it just gets to the point where you really don’t give a fuck.
And when are women going to stop worrying about what other people think?
Not only is it arrogant, believing that other people are wasting their time and energy worrying and thinking about you, but it’s pathetic and stupid.
People you don’t know, those walking down the street, or in the local store don’t know you and are not thinking about you in any way, shape or form.
So why do you worry so much about what people will say, think or do?
WHY DO YOU WASTE YOUR ENERGY GIVING A FUCK?
As you get older you just don’t have that time or energy any more and it’s like, who gives a shit?!
I think women need to stop using stupid lame phrases when they speak, when they converse with others, and in the way they talk about themselves.
I’m over stupidity, immaturity, insecurity and idiots. I don’t need to give myself permission to not care, to not waste my time and energy, to give a fat rats about what other people are thinking because I don’t care what they are thinking. I don’t need your permission to feel, think, or write what I want and I sure as hell don’t need anyone’s permission to be or exist.
When are women going to get tough and grow a pair, when are women going to stand up for what they believe and think instead of using weak, pathetic phrases and words? I don’t know, but I really don’t want to be around weak people.
