I didn’t know, back in 2018, that Moleskine, whose Style journal I have, made a Barbie Collection consisting of five notebooks and a phone case.

It’s still on their Facebook page here.

And while I’ve had them on my to-buy list for a while, I finally managed to buy three of the five notebooks.

Here they are without their little cardboard skirts.

The large pink notebook has the original black and white swimsuit Barbie, in pink, on the inside cover. the back inside cover has “Little girls want to pretend to be bigger girls”, and has a small pocket for storing stickers. You can also see the inside of the cardboard skirt.

The black notebook has the same print pattern as the cover on both inside covers. Plus stickers in a small pocket.

The small pink notebook has Barbie logos on the inside covers, and stickers.

While talking about Barbie, I’ve also acquired a book I’ve long been after. Barbie Doll Treasures 1959-1997. I’ve added two of my favourite double page spread.

I mean, rock ‘n roll Barbie from the 60s, anyone? And she had a freakin’ motorbike on a stand!

So they are the latest acquisitions to the Barbie collection.
