Ah, xmas, the time of the year when ridiculously knitted Rudolph jumpers or weird Santa tshirts come out of the closet to get a go around the table at xmas lunch.
Here in Aus it’s summer at xmas and so tshirts, or lack thereof, are the call of the day. I have two green ones and they’ve been going on for 15+ years. I only pull them out on the 1st of December and wear only red and green for the next 24 days. Come December 26 they all go back into the wardrobe until the next year. And having tshirts means I’ll never have that ugly jumper to wear.
But I’d LOVE a Rudolph or Santa jumper, so horribly kitschy and rather gaudy. I think it would be hilarious to wear. But most, if not all, people in Australia DO NOT wear jumpers on xmas day, unless it’s surprisingly freezing, or they’re old.
What an awesome ugly sweater montage; way to get Mark Darcy in there! As a fan of all things kitschy, gaudy, and hilarious, I say rock on.
Funny thing is I don’t think they’re ugly, lol!
