Did anyone but his sponsors really give a shit if Tiger Woods had cheated on his ex-wife and did we really need to see it on TV?
Uh, NO!
Do we need to see other athletes, or musos, or actors, or anyone getting their ugly mugs (faces for anyone outside of Aus) on national and international TV blubbering about how they are ‘sooooooo sorrrryyyyyy’ for what they did.
Seriously, I really don’t give a fuck. I think they all need to shut up and deal with it themselves.
Why is privacy not private anymore? And don’t give me the whole, “they’re a public figure they should apologize” because they shouldn’t. If someone has done something that does not involve me in any way, shape or form then I ain’t interested. Keep your affairs and mistresses to yourself and shut the fuck up. I don’t need to hear, see or read about your stuff ups or your apologies.
And they apologise for the most stupid of things. They said the word faggot, or bared their crotch in a night club, got drunk and puked in the street. Big freakin deal! If you didn’t kill anyone or at least seriously hurt them, I don’t give a fuck and I seriously doubt anyone else does either.
I have noticed that many celebs have bounced back from bad shit they’ve done, and their “peeps” have declared it’s because they apologised. I don’t think so. I think it has nothing to do with it. I think it’s just the sponsors panicking about their “star” losing big bucks for them and so they demand they apologise. And most people quickly forget what their “role models” have done anyways. Or the celebs work hard to get their life back on track and we see that they are serious about getting their shit together. Just look at Robert Downey Junior.
If only the big company sponsors weren’t so arrogant that they knew we really don’t give a shit.
And guess what people, apology NOT accepted because I really don’t give a shit and it’s NONE of my business!
