What I Found Over The Holidays That I’m Lusting After!

There are always those unicorn pieces you long to have in your wardrobe.

Capes, kaftans, kimonos, tops, dresses, bags and shoes.

You see them in a store, catalogue, or on another person and want them.

These are some of those unicorn pieces for me.

I didn’t even know they existed, but I want them…

First up we have the label Black Milk.

I first saw this cape on social media and went in search of it. I could have had one from eBay, but got a little picky over pricing and was asking questions when the item was bought. I haven’t seen one since.

Next up are two Camilla kaftans.

I’ve reprioritised my wants for Camillas. I’ve found that the ones I do have are rather thin, or what I call hitchable, material and I much prefer the patterns and prints of the kaftans I’ve already got, so I’ve cut back on the ones I actually do want. But these two prints are rather intriguing. On the left is Benny’s Blessing, on the right is Show Girl, which reminds me of the Madagascar cartoon movies.

Next up are items from a store I’ve found over the summer. Czarina Kaftans is the name, and they have stunningly gorgeous clothing.

Because I’d never heard of them, I’ve missed out on some gorgeous pieces, but this one is still available. The price is a little beyond my budget, but a decent sale might get me over the line.

These are the pieces I want most. The Tropical Paradise cape (top) and the harem pants. Both are sold out, and yes, the pattern is familiar because I have a kaftan in the exact same print which you can see here. I want these so badly I’m willing to wait and keep tracking them down.

And here is the Dancing Peacock cape. Isn’t she gorgeous! Also sold out.

And finally, the Flamingo Kaftan. Not sure where to find one, but I’m looking.

What have you guys lusted over these last few months?

Unicorn pieces . . . love that! These are all gorgeous, and so you. My favorite is the Madagascar one because the colors and print are so in-your-face. I always keep a running list of things I want to buy, both from stores and sites. I cross things off as I buy them. Things that are sold out or that I just don’t want anymore get a squiggly line. It’s fun!

I’ve got a list too, Tote. It keeps getting longer, and longer, and longer…
