What I Did On My Last Writing Holiday For 2022

In all reality, it’s not really a writing holiday anymore, so it’s clearly time to rename it come next year.

But here’s what I got up to.

Saturday 1 – cleaned up my bedroom in an early spring clean, mum had a telehealth doctor call, then watched a couple of movies.

Sunday 2 – did my social media videos for the week, read Death By Tiara by Laura Levine, and Rewind by Catherine Ryan Howard.

Monday 3 – public holiday so read 56 Days and The Nothing Man by Catherine Ryan Howard, started releasing One Bone social media videos.

Tuesday 4 – worked online, released Anything for You in print at Amazon, received Anything For You proofs from IS. Read Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning to see how a number 1 best selling rock band book was like. I’ve written graphic sex in my books, but holy fuck that was a lot. And I was grossed out. Which says a lot.

Wednesday 5 – released Anything for You in print at IS, worked online.

Thursday 6 – shopping, library, writers’ group, recorded Six Bone social media videos.

Friday 7 – housework, worked online.

Saturday 8 – laid out the plot line for a trilogy, received Amazon proofs of Six Bone, watched Wonder Woman 1984 on TV. Chris Pine…

Sunday 9 – prepared the week’s social media videos, worked online, caught up with book requirements.

Monday 10 – dealt with emails, posted social media videos of Two Bone, took a day to deal with Google Play.

Tuesday 11 – finished off Google Play, made phone calls, social media videos.

Wednesday 12 – more phone calls, more social media videos.

Thursday 13 – shopping, library, chiro, emails, social media videos, it was a very long day. Bought some cool tops, though.

Friday 4 – housework, social media videos, emails.

Saturday 5 – proofed Six Bone, took mum to the doctor.

Sunday 6 – Corrected the e-books and print versions that make up Six Bone, uploaded them everywhere, put the print books up for pre-order, did my TikTok videos for the week, reconsidered my e-book prices for novels, and finished up bits and pieces.

I am bloody exhausted, and there’s still more to go as I wrap up October and wrap up blog posts and try and get the next book’s plotline finished off, AND listen to the AI narrated audio book for Anything for You which I hope to release at the end of the month.

What did you guys get up to in the last two weeks.
