What I did on my last writing holiday for 2021…

Friday 24th – had a doctor’s appointment in the morning so headed there and did some op shopping after. Came home with Gobo Fraggle and then did the laundry.

Saturday 25th – pottered around getting things ready for the week. Exhausted.

Sunday 26th – did an online grammar course and was exhausted after it.

Monday 27th – made some phone calls to set up multiple appointments, did stuff online.

Tuesday 28th – we had the lawn mowed in the morning, and had a house inspection in the afternoon. Did some emails.

Wednesday 29th – I decided on my journey to freedom (long story) that I was going to cull some social media accounts. Cull, cull, cull. Nothing new for me, but this year has been coming for two years after hitting burnout. I culled two Tumblr blogs (they were only my wordpress blogs that went through to there, so nothing new, but not needed anymore), two Disqus accounts, two Bloglovin’ accounts (It’s been awhile since I asked them to delete them, so they could still be up for all I know), and two Youtube channels. Although, to be fair, while the YT channels are gone, my profiles are not because they’re connected to Google accounts I won’t be deleting until over Christmas, and then I can finally deleted the email address that goes with them. YAY!

I was planning on deleting all of my Twitter accounts over Christmas, but I might just go silent on them and take a break from posting so much. I’m exhausted and want to get back to before I got bogged down with business. Long story that will come early next year.

And, of course, all of this culminated in a migraine that grew progressively worse through the day and into the night. Lack of sleep, etc.

Thursday 30th – the usual shopping, library, writers’ group.

Friday 1st – laundry, some blog posts, uploaded the new T.K. Wrathbone story. Considered moving some blogs to other websites, or completely mashing them all together under my website. Another long story. I’m trying to cull and simplify instead of adding to.

Saturday 2nd – did some more things for the new TKW story, and kept on with figuring things out.

Sunday 3rd – spent most of the day looking at paperwork, STILL trying to figure things out and then watched multiple eps of Blue Bloods online.

Monday 4th – public holiday, finished off business questions for meeting.

Tuesday 5th – did a phone interview with a business expert about all of my business stuff. Then rushed up to pay the car rego at the post office, and then took my laptop to the store I bought it from so they could fix what I could not.

Wednesday 6th – wrapped up a bunch of stuff, more note taking.

Thursday 7th – the usual shopping, library, chiro, and the eye doctor for my two-yearly visit.

Friday 8th – laundry, cleaning, tidying up, more note sorting, did some blog posts, the usual for a Friday.

Saturday 9th – I did more blog posts and scoured eBay.

Sunday 10th – as above.

Monday 11th – got ready for a zoom writing course on plotting and planning tonight that I’m doing. Part two is the 18th.

That’s it for the last holiday for 2021. I haven’t written for awhile, never do at this time of year, really, so that should tell me something.
