I’ve bought a few other books since the beginning of the year, waiting until they were on sale to add them to my collection. And here they are.

Every Night at Midnight is a children’s picture book I read for my Writing Children’s Picture Books course with the Aus Writers Centre in Jan 25. I loved it so much I wanted it, and waited for it to be cheaper.

I added to my Dummies Guides with the Poetry book.

One day, while op shopping, I found these two pirate books in the same shop I got my cat top. I know these books go for around $30 in bookstores, even more online, unless you can get it on eBay. I got them for $3 each.

Pirates has a red eye and a gold tooth, and features Johnny Depp a couple of times.

And last, but not least, I finally managed to get my hands on Debbie Gibson’s, Eternally Electric. While it came out in October of 2025, the price was only manageable in March, as here in Aus, the price hovers around $50AU.

There are coloured photos inside, along with some black and whites thrown in, and information I never knew about. I do still have most of my Debbie stuff. The bio/celeb books, and some tour books, plus a folder full of magazine articles. I always loved to stare at the pictures of her house and bedroom, and wish I had the same. She’s where my Swatch watch and Caboodle addictions started from. She always wore two watches, and Caboodles sponsored the tour for her third album.
