The New Books I’ve Bought in the Last Few Months

Here’s a quick update of my Murder, She Wrote collection, plus a few other books I’ve bought these last few months.

I managed to buy the third and fourth jigsaw puzzle in the collection. These match the previous two I bought, however, there are several versions of these so I’ll be tracking those down as well. Both were bought from eBay for $32.20 and $32.94.

I found out THIS existed this year and tracked one down from my local games shop. The POP Funko of Jessica Fletcher! It was only $20, and I finally bought the mass market pb of book #50, A Time For Murder for $16.

I read both of these books earlier in the year and loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo so much I bought the hardcover. And for some authorly interest, I bought Save The Cat! Writes A Novel. Who knows, it might make me a better author!

Now, I generally don’t go and buy brand new books unless it’s a Nancy Drew, or something I desperately need. Most of my books are secondhand, off eBay, from op shops, or book exchanges, etc, but when I read the first two Sandie Docker books earlier this year I loved them so much I blogged about them, and then decided to just go and buy #3 The Banksia Bay Beach Shack, and then track down the other two as well.

I haven’t read it yet, I’m saving it for the summer holidays so I can cry in peace without having to write my own damn books after it.

Damn you, ahead of time, Sandie Docker, for making me cry a third time!!!

I said they were some of the prettiest damn book covers I’d ever seen. So they will be on display to look at every day. They even fit into my summery travel case!

That she is, Tote, that she is. And the books currently sit on top of my cupboard awaiting to be read.
