As you would all know from many a STYLE NOTES post, I LOVE notebooks. And not just any notebooks, stylish, funky and colourful notebooks, particularly ones with jewels, gems, fashion, accessories and disco balls and both of which I scored below.
I recently found these two gorgeous notebooks from my local newsagent for $3 each. Plain ruled inside, the covers speak for themselves, and since I’m a jewellery designer, the pearls in the mouth is a definite need, the girl surrounded by a rainbow of colours and a disco ball was a want.
And I love the fact the picture goes all the way around the cover. I find notebooks with plain backs to be boring, but when it’s a full cover pic, it makes it better. How’s the disco ball flowers! And there’s a dolphin and crocodile/alligator thrown in for good measure.
And the pearl lips has a funky gold snakeskin back. Cool!
And the last ones that I’ve recently bought were these. I haven’t bought notebooks in ages, possibly since last year or the year before as I already have so many, they’re being collected not used, and really, I haven’t found any worth buying by way of boring pictures on the cover, or they just don’t interest me enough to buy them. But these were only $3 each as well and I threw my little unicorn Pegasus into the pic for some cuteness. And yes, it IS all rainbows and unicorns.
Do you guys love stationery and what’s the one thing you seem to buy most?
I keep buying notebooks too! Love a new fresh notebook, and then I write in it with my chicken scratchings… but they do come in handy!
They certainly do come in handy Imogen. I have boxes of them just waiting to be used because I’ve bought so many over the years. And then there’s the ones I can’t bear to use.
