Hello everyone. Xmas has been hectic on the home front so I haven’t blogged for awhile. Everything is still available online at Jewel Divas it would seem there’s something I’m not doing right to get myself noticed in the public.
So I’m going to besiege the magazines once again.
In fact I’ve sent a letter off to the editor of Cosmo mag Aus asking why there aren’t any Aussie designers being showcased instead of the usual suspects that are in month after month.
I’ll post the reply once I get it.
In the meantime, I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth starting a new collection. I haven’t sold any from the current AFRICAN SAFARI collection and so made no money. There’s no markets or boutiqes to sell at or to, no people I know that run shops or business that I can get help and advice from, so I have to go it alone.
That’s why I wrote the letter to Cosmo. I’ll be writing one to Cleo and other mags when I get the email ads for the editors.
I need to get my jewellery known to the massess. Can anyone think of a celebrity who’s into AFRICAN SAFARI maybe I can send them a piece for free advertising.
Samantha Wills gave P!nk a huge ring a few years back and got loads of publicity. She sent it into the channel 10 show Video Hits and asked the vj to give it to P!nk during the interview. She wore it alot and obviously Samantha Wills got loads of publicity.
