The Loyal Subjects have licensed many ’80s cartoon characters to bring them back to life in physical form, including, Rainbow Bright, Monsters, and Transformers, to name three.

So far, I’ve bought the new Jem doll, the amazing Jem and Synergy doll set, the Glitter ‘n Gold Jem, and The Holograms.

I won’t be taking them out of their boxes, I have no need to, not even to look at them, but they will be staying packed in a box so they’re all together. Turns out, the Pop Funkos wouldn’t fit in the box, so that’s TWO boxes of dolls.

And so the boxes in the spare room hit the ceiling…

JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS!!!!!

I bought the Jem doll and Jem/Synergy set from an Aussie store called Popcultcha as imports.

She’s different to the original, as seen below. The face, the hair, the size. Many collectors have done unboxing and comparison videos on Youtube. But, being 30 plus years on, they were going to be different. At least I can afford these.

Last year, the Glitter n’ Gold record came out. I missed out on the two versions of the pink record from the year before, but hope to get them sometime in the future. AND…it has glitter in the vinyl!
