Ah, May. The month of my birth, the month, very possibly, of my death…

Jesus, that got morose fast!

Started off May with some florals in some of my fave colours, blue and red. I bought the kimono off eBay years back and bought the top from Millers only last month. They go together well. Most of the jewels are from chain stores.

Continued with the sun and the stars! There is a choker to go with this set but it had a broken piece. There’s a weirdo story about this top after the picture. 

A woman accosted me in the supermarket over this top. Here’s the conversation.

HER “excuse me, I like that top, where did you get it?”

ME “ebay.”

HER “how much did it cost?”

ME “about $50.”

HER “is that a kaftan?”

ME “yeah, I’d call it a kaftan top.”

HER “I want it.”

ME “well go and buy it.” (knowing full well she’d probably never find one)

Jaysus! Some people!

Continued on the next week to the day before my birth with my own nod to my name. Christ I’m white! Jewel Divas crown set, ebay rings and bracelets.

Ended the month with more birds in my kaftan top and cape from Czarina. I seem to have a thing for them along with anything tropical. Jewel Divas bracelet stack, ebay rings, necklace and bangles, chain store earrings and op shop choker.
