Neon has followed pastels this year I’ve noticed and like most things it all goes round in circles, just like ra-ra and balloon skirts.

Neon bags are big as well, particularly satchels. Suddenly everyone has one and everyone sells one. But I’m fussy. I like inexpensive things which is why I buy so much on ebay, but am yet to buy anything neon. I have so much to carry around I’m not sure a satchel would even be worth buying. Like most women, it seems the older I get the bigger the bag becomes. But when you have a business you need to carry a lot. A portfolio, business cards, phone, note and sketchbooks, purse, make up kits, purse for this, purse for that. Yikes. I just wouldn’t be able to fit it all into a satchel, unless it was a huge one.

Does it remind you of another time?
 
Like the 80s!

Of course that’s not to say I may not get any neon jewellery or a bag or clothes. Neon seems to be hot all over again just like it was back in the 80s when I was growing up. I had neon yellow and pink socks, a neon green bangle, which I threw out years ago and should have kept, and I also had neon yellow aviator sunglasses which I threw out as well. Bugger!
