Before we launch into new goodies, a quick audit update for 2019…

The data that came through is this…

In 2018, I bought 11 pieces of clothing, 12 accessories, and 43 pieces of jewellery.

In 2019, I bought 30 pieces of clothing, 12 accessories, and 33 pieces of jewellery.

As you can see, I was up on clothing, down on jewellery, and the same for accessories. And yes, I buy them all. I’m not given, gifted or paid for my clothes.

I was up on clothes because I bought kaftans and kimonos, plus some inexpensive under tanks, and dresses to wear around the house in summer. I was around the same on accessories because I only bought one pair of shoes, several bags, and some accessories such as slippers. And since my jewellery collection had been overhauled in 2018 and many a piece had been retired or remade, I was only buying what I needed.

On the flip side, in 2019 I only threw out 12 pieces of clothing.

I ended the year with 534 pieces of clothing, 454 accessories (I think there was an issue with last year’s count), and 2042 pieces of jewellery, for a $41,975.46 wardrobe.

I’m certainly not a celebrity with a multi-million dollar closet that came for free, but I’m doing okay with what I have.

And here’s what I bought over the holidays…not much, actually, as most of my money went towards other things which you’ll see over the coming months. 

I found this gorgeous Millers brand kimono jacket at an op shop for $7.20

I also found this GOR.GE.OUS cape from Czarina for 20% off, so I scored it for $186.75. I needed a pink based one as I have a lot of pink, but not many capes or kimonos to go with it.

And bought this gorgeous flamingo set from Colette by Colette Hayman. All on sale in the after xmas sales.

The overnight bag ended up being $34.99, the purse was $7.50, the neck pillow (in its own little bag) was $8.50, all half price.

And like I need another laptop bag/folio…

Oh hell yes I did!

Especially when it looks like this. It’s bigger than most folios but also has the print on the inside. $25 at half price.

Not a lot, clothing and accessories wise, but so much more to come in the next few months.
