I first read this book from my local library about fifteen or twenty years ago. I always wanted one, more so after she died, but could never find one in good condition for a reasonable price.
Well, thanks to Amazon Prime, I scored a plastic wrapped hardcover and LOVE IT!
Her jewellery, which wouldn’t even come close to being the whole collection in this book, was one of, if not THE most incredible collection in the world. The back stories alone make the gems priceless, and she had some of the most famous diamonds and pearls in the world, plus, the fact many came from her husbands or dear friends, such as Michael Jackson, make them even more priceless. Some of them are stunning, and the story of her wearing me on her head while she was swimming, well, what can I say…La Liz did what she wanted with me.
You’ve gotta love Amazon Prime! This is my favorite part of the post: “Some of them are stunning, and the story of her wearing me on her head while she was swimming, well, what can I say…La Liz did what she wanted with me.” LOL!
