Phryne was back last Phryday night and most of her outfits, sadly, were less than spectacular.

She started and ended the show in black evening gowns. The first, on the left, was beaded and delicate. The second, on the right, floral and clipped at the front.

Next was the same outfit worn two days in a row but with different hats and coats. Even the shoes are the same. A bit slack when it came to originality for outfit choices.

The best outfit by far for the entire show was her mint green delicately beaded almost ankle length gown. There’s an up close pic below it showing off the fabulous work done by the wardrobe department on the show.

We’re only one episode down and I cannot wait to see what else they’ve stocked her wardrobe with.

The best line of the night, and entire series so far, was when Phryne stated, “men, you can’t live with them and you can’t hit them with an axe.”
