Do songs make you cry? Lady Gaga did it for me!

So there was a time, not so long ago, that I hadn’t listened to music for absolutely ages. I’m not talking about the radio, I mean whacking in the earphones and belting it out loud. So back then I did just that. It had been so long and I don’t know what sort of mood I was in but I got teary at Lady GaGa!!!!!

One moment I’m bouncing along to Born This Way and then I’m bawling my eyes out. When I’m okay, I’m listening to The Queen and again, I bawl my eyes out.

I don’t know why, it was just days after hearing that one of her fans had killed himself because he was being bullied and she mentioned it in her concert, or whether it was just that, at that moment the words to the song affected me for some emotional reason.

Do songs affect you like that?

There are times in your life, happy or sad, when you’ll hear a song and the words will reflect EXACTLY what’s happening in your life at that moment.

Do you laugh, cry, get all miserable?

I find it very strange that there always seems to be a song that can do that, but then I guess it goes to show that the song writers have been through what everyone else goes through.

Real life experiences.
