Here we go with the last jewellery overhaul post.
I wasn’t overly happy with this next set, so I went through my gold pieces, added some earrings and triangle necklace I didn’t wear, added the old earrings to the bracelet stack and had a new set.
I don’t have a lot of white jewellery, it’s not a neutral I wear a lot. I prefer it mixed with colours, so I combined a few pieces, like my stone set and a pair of earrings I had lying around, added the new necklace I’d bought to the stone necklace, joined the chain bracelet to it, and made a completely new bracelet stack.
When I went through my black floral set I found that the gold bangle had rotted, so in the bin it went. I no longer wanted the floral locket, so gave it away, and added the floral necklace from a blue gold flower set.
And here’s the ultimate set. I combined my two elephant sets (why have two?), bought new elephant keyrings, turned them into earrings, divided up the old earrings between the bag bling and the bracelet, and there I have a new black and white elephant set.
And that’s it. It’s now mid-year and that’s the last of my xmas bargains and all I did with them.
Just wait to see what I’ve got next….
I love repurposing jewelry. And like you, I can’t do plain white but need it mixed with color or sparkles or something. Great job!
Thanks, Tote.
