Part 5 of my jewellery overhaul is here and almost over.
I knew I needed to update my christmas set, but wasn’t sure how. In 2017 I bought the xmas tree earrings from Lovisa but baulked at the idea of paying so much for another three pairs. In 2018 I bit the bullet and knew that my xmas shopping trip was going to be for buying as much as possible. I may have had a budget of $150 cash, plus whatever else came along would go on the credit card, but thankfully, I didn’t need to book anything up. So I bought the three new earrings, rudolph, santa and boots, and overhauled the entire set.
I also bought two large crown keyrings and turned them into earrings, added them to my crown set, and rearranged the old earrings onto the two necklaces.
I had to throw out the poor parrot necklace below. The beads had lost their colour so had to go. I put the charm onto a bracelet, added the palm necklace I had bought, and made a refreshed set.
Crosses. I had many, so, why not join them all up? I took my coloured bead set, added my white gold set, a pair of earrings I rarely wore, added the green cross ring from my green birthstone set, and the coloured chain bracelet from a blue gold floral set. I added the cross from the Old England red set, reorganised the necklaces, made new earrings out of three, and voila, a new set.
I also had many heart sets. I took my purple and apricot sets, added them to my multi set, plus the newly bought heart earrings to make a new set. I combined some necklaces together, added the old heart earrings onto the chain bracelet along with an old green pendant, added the old purple and apricot earrings as charms to other things, plus added two stretch bracelets I had bought from eBay years ago. Although, I just realised I have no heart rings…better go buy some…
Stars…I had a few… I joined my multi gold with my plain gold, with some brooches and made a new set. I added some necklaces to some bracelets and made new pieces.
Just one more to go and that will be it for my jewellery revamp.
