2025 New Year Holiday Bargains!

I bought quite a few things over the holiday period, so here we go with the new goodies I added to my collection.

In December, I found Spencil was having a sale on their website and bought many items in the Beach Blooms print. The backpack, library bag, swimming bag, tablet bag, two different sized pencil cases, and various notebooks.

The colours and palm tree beach vibe is very me and in my favourite blue pink tones. The whole set cost $117.86.

These next two bags I have been after for years. Although technically, I wasn’t after them, as I didn’t realise there were two versions. I bought the smaller one with the heart and stars first for $79.41AU as I rarely see these bags on eBay. Then, a month later, I saw the larger one with all stars on the front which would be far more expensive to buy. But I bit the bullet and bought it for $152.10AU, so now I have two variants in two sizes.

They’re Justice Girls messenger bags, and have a matching folder binder which I’m still after.

The jewellery I’ve bought in the last few months hasn’t been much.

The $30 ring and $48.56 earrings both come from eBay, as did the $29 green necklace and earring set which I bought and wore for Christmas.

I bought these swatches in the last couple of months of 2024. From left to right, it’s

Chichicastenango, American Dream, Floral Story and, I think, Ortrud.

I’d been after them for a while, and sadly, the band of the floral one broke, but I was able to glue it together and can still wear it.

For Christmas, I bought this silver sequin tank from my local Kmart for $15.

The other tops all came from eBay US and are a label known as Leoma Lovegrove. The prices, with conversion, varied between $65 and $75AU.

It’s been a while since I bought printed brand clothing from eBay US, the last lot were Custo Barcelona and Take Two in 2009. But Leoma is just as colourful and quirky, and you’re definitely not going to see the same thing where I live. It’s good having clothing and jewellery no one else has.

From Aliexpress, I bought this kaftan and four kimono/capes (which need a good steam) for a grand total of $136.10AU, making them $27.22 each. Bargain, I say. Especially for something so unusual that stores will import them and then charge hundreds here in Aus.

Accessories wise, I bought these $4 Kmart flower keyrings which I had the idea of turning into earrings, and then something else.

A couple of days later, I went back to Kmart when they opened and bought a lot more goodies as the Christmas bargains were being reduced.

These two holographic jewellery cases for $3 and $2 came home as well. Mum got three sizes, plus a lap desk for the lounge room. I also bought some clipboard file containers for my yearly writing and blogging lists and paperwork.

That’s it for my christmas holiday bargains. What did you guys get yourselves over the holidays?
