I started stamp collecting when I was a kid. Just as with collecting stationery, stamps and erasers (my collection for another day when I’ve actually taken photos) is something quick and easy for children to collect. Once upon a time they only came on envelopes. Over the last 30 or so years of my life I’ve been able to get them in several places. Kmart was one of them when I was about ten. The rest, mainly the post office and what collections they’ve had. I’ve probably missed out on many amazing stamp sets, like Harry Potter. I was going to get them and then didn’t because the post office never has the sets in long enough, if they have them in at all. Either way, enjoy the next few posts over the weeks as I show you my stamp collection, not all mind you, I have an album but will only be showing my favourite pages of stamps, for now, here are my animals!
