STYLE NOTES: Sharpies, erasers and paperclips!

In the event of my first writing holiday for the year, I am doing a Style Notes post about a few things one might need to write a book.

First up, erasers, also known as rubbers. Although since condoms are also known as rubbers, I prefer the word eraser. A gorgeous little set of beauty erasers from Kmart for $1. Yes…$1! Mirror, comb, blush brush, lipstick and blush pad.

And then there’s my sharpie addiction. I bought a few, then a few more, then a few more, then a 20 pack….it’s never ending and you can buy them easily on Amazon.

And then I found these awesome Jonathon Adler paperclips. $6.50 from Officeworks for a small box of 12. I bought 2 boxes. Rather appropriate symbols for the work I do. He’s got a beach theme set for sale here.

What novelty note styling have you done lately?

I love, love, love colorful writing supplies (and have more than a few myself)! My eye was instantly drawn to these Sharpies; you really do have quite a collection. The erasers are cute, too; the part about the rubbers made me laugh.

Yes Tote, I prefer the word erasers these days, it won’t elicit giggles.
